Yes. I am a climate change sceptic. When The Australian recently announced that the Antarctic ice was growing and not shrinking, it reinforced my doubt that the environmental lobby was not entirely accurate. Having said that, it has always been in our long term self interest to ensure that we have a planet earth that is viable and liveable.

So why don’t we capitalise on the pro-environment industry from a business perspective, and still be able to help the environment?

Could Parramatta CBD become the pro-environment industry’s capital of Australia? Could specialising in pro-environment jobs and specific niches of the pro-environment industry produce a business strategy for the city? Could future buildings in the Parramatta CBD be designed with exemplary pro-environment designs, like external tiles/panels that absorb the city’s pollution? What about roof top gardens? How about a city that provides a central car pool which local small businesses could use, thereby minimising capital expenditure costs which is helpful to businesses and also be pro-environment? Or what about a city that generates its own power and could still feed its surplus electricity back to the grid?

Pro-environment  experts are now being approached to help formulate an environment strategy outline and advisory panel.
